Two members of singer Bobby Brown’s entourage were taken to hospital and treated for knife wounds after a fight at a restaurant early today, police said.Brown, who has a history of drug and alcohol arrests, was apparently not involved, authorities said.
He lives outside Atlanta with his wife, singer Whitney Houston.
Brown was with a group of people celebrating a relative’s birthday at Justin’s Restaurant and Bar when a fight broke out, and two members of Brown’s group were either cut or stabbed, police detective DL Dixon said.
“There was a lot of music and talking going on,” Dixon said. “It could have been something as simple as a bump, you know, somebody bumped into each other.”
Justin’s Restaurant and Bar is owned by rapper and producer Sean “P Diddy” Combs.
Authorities were looking for the suspects, who drove away after the fight. The cause of the altercation was not immediately known.
A 21-year-old man was taken to Piedmont Hospital and a 20-year-old man was taken to Atlanta Medical Centre. Both were in stable condition, Dixon said.

In response to a civil lawsuit, Michael Vick’s attorneys filed documents Friday denying the Falcons quarterback gave a woman a sexually transmitted disease.Gwinnett County resident Sonya Elliott, 26, alleges Vick knowingly gave her genital herpes following an encounter in April 2003.
The complaint was filed March 14 in Gwinnett County State Court. Elliott seeks damages alleging Vick’s negligence, unwanted physical contact, pain, suffering and potential future medical complications, according to the suit.
In the nine-page response also filed in Gwinnett County, Vick acknowledges meeting Elliott at a nightclub.
Elliott’s attorney, Cale Conley of Atlanta, said in a prepared statement that he has received documents that show Vick and Elliott had socialized, talked on the phone and that Vick introduced Elliott to some friends and his mother.
“We plan to challenge with the court many of the items Mr. Vick claims to be confidential, however, and look forward to further facts coming to light as the discovery process moves forward,” the document said.
Vick and his attorneys had until May 6 to respond to the lawsuit. Vick’s attorneys — Taylor Daly of Atlanta and Lawrence Woodward and Lisa O’Donnell of Virginia Beach, Va., could not be reached for comment.

A high school junior in a central Georgia military town was suspended from school this week after refusing to end a long-distance cellphone call from his mother, an Army sergeant serving in Iraq.Kevin Francois, a 17-year-old student at Spencer High School in Columbus, Ga., was in the school cafeteria Wednesday when his mother, Sgt. 1st Class Monique Bates, called to check in with him. When Francois went outside to get better reception, he was spotted by a teacher who — citing a district policy against cellphone use during school hours — told him to hang up.
Francois refused and was suspended for 10 days for disorderly conduct.
“I think I was right by not hanging up my phone,” Francois said in a phone interview Friday
They was both wrong! I’m pretty sure the student was very emotional when confronted by the teacher. If he would of gently explain to the teacher who he was talking too it could of ended right there. This is a minor incident and the school of should have been able to handle this much much better

Henry County jail officials are still trying to figure out how four inmates slipped out of the recreation yard Wednesday night, but speculate the quartet had outside help.“I think someone may have come in the night before and cut the fence,” Lt. I’m still debating if i should purchase a fish scale

My question is, at what point did they stop the custard making machine to find the finger? Missing finger means there was blood. Which means there was blood in the ice cream. This is much more worse.

Dispatcher: Alberquerque 911. Operator 45. What is your emergency?Wilbanks: I’m at the … I don’t know where I am. I’m right here beside Solano Street at the 7-Eleven.
Dispatcher: OK. What’s going on?
Wilbanks: I’ve got my family and the police on the phone. I was kidnapped earlier this week. It was on CNN. [inaudible]
Dispatcher: What is your name, ma’am?
Wilbanks: Jennifer.
Dispatcher: Were you hurt, Jennifer? Do you need any medical attention?
Wilbanks: No I don’t need any medical attention. [inaudible] I told them my name.
Dispatcher: Do you know who did this to you?
Wilbanks: No.
[inaudible]
Dispatcher: Do you know where your location is?
Wilbanks: At some street … I, I don’t even know who I am. And I’m just sitting here.
Dispatcher: Did they hurt you in any way? Jennifer, do you need medical attention?
Wilbanks: No, they didn’t hurt me. I’m talking to them right now…
Dispatcher: What happened?
Wilbanks: I was kidnapped from Atlanta, Georgia. I don’t know, my fiance has been on the news. I don’t know. I just need them to fly here and get me.
Dispatcher: Who did this to you?
Wilbanks: I don’t know.
Dispatcher: Did they just drop you off right now?
Wilbanks: I don’t know how long ago it was. They didn’t drop me off here. Away from here. On some street, I don’t know where I am…It was a Hispanic man and a Caucasian woman. It happened in Duluth.
Dispatcher: Was he Hispanic or Native American?
Wilbanks: Hispanic.
Dispatcher: About how old?
Wilbanks: I’d would say in their 40s, maybe.
Dispatcher: How tall was he?
Wilbanks: God, I don’t know, about 5-10, about my height, 5-9.
Dispatcher: What was his weight? Thin, heavy or medium build?
Wilbanks: It was medium, yeah, don’t know.
Dispatcher: What color hair did he have?
Wilbanks: Black.
Dispatcher: Was it long or short?
Wilbanks: Short.
Dispatcher: Did he have any facial hair?
Wilbanks: No
Dispatcher: What color jacket was wearing when you last saw him?
Wilbanks: He had a maroon jacket and I don’t know what color shirt under it.
Dispatcher: What color were was his pants?
Wilbanks: Blue jeans
Dispatcher: And what kind of vehicle was he driving?
Wilbanks: A blue van, like a sport van
Dispatcher: Was it a conversion van or a small minivan?
Wilbanks: It wasn’t a mini van, it was like a painter or what van.
Dispatcher: Did you get a license plate? Jennifer?
Wilbanks: I’ve got my family and police on the same line. I want to know that the police or somebody is on the way.
Dispatcher: We’re on our way right now. You still need to answer my questions. Did you get a license plate number?
Wilbanks: No ma’am.
Dispatcher: And the female? Was she black, white, Hispanic, Native American.
Wilbanks: Caucasian.
Dispatcher: How old, approximately?
Wilbanks: I would say in her 40s, too.
Dispatcher: And how tall was she?
Wilbanks: Probably 5-5 or so.
Dispatcher: And her weight? Thin heavy or medium build?
Wilbanks: She was heavier
Dispatcher: What color hair did she have?
Wilbanks: It was like a frosted blonde.
Dispatcher: Was it long or short?
Wilbanks: It was like shoulder length. (I have to answer her questions.)
Dispatcher: What color shirt or jacket was she wearing?
Wilbanks: A white tee-shirt and blue jeans.
Dispatcher: Did they have weapons on them?
Wilbanks: Yes (cries). They had a huge pistol and a small hand gun. (cries)
Dispatcher: Do you know if they were real?
Wilbanks: Yes.
Dispatcher: What direction did they leave in?
Wilbanks: Do what?
Dispatcher: What direction did the leave in the van?
Wilbanks: There somebody trying to use the phone. I don’t have any idea. I don’t know where I am.
Dispatcher: Was it a dark blue van?
Wilbanks: No it was a lighter van. Somebody is here to use the phone, y’all.
Dispatcher: You’re going to have stay on the phone. Let them know you’re on the line with officers. How long ago did they leave you?
Wilbanks: (unintelligible through sobs)
Dispatcher: Did they go right or left out of the parking lot?
Wilbanks: They went straight. And they went behind me and I went forward.
Dispatcher: Did an officer make contact with you?
Wilbanks: No, he doesn’t even see me.
Dispatcher: What are you wearing?
Wilbanks: I have on gray running pants, and the same sweatshirt that I’ve had on since Tuesday.
Dispatcher: So you have gray sweatpants on? Sweat suit on?
Wilbanks: Gray running pants and a gray sweatshirt.
Dispatcher: Just stay on the line
Wilbanks: He sees me. The police is here.
Dispatcher: Is he making contact with you?
Wilbanks: He’s getting in his car and coming back down here.
Dispatcher: Wait until he makes contact with you, OK. Did this happen on April 26?
Wilbanks: Um, Tuesday.

ATLANTA (AP) — Baggage claim and ticketing for part of Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport were closed for two hours Sunday while airport police investigated a suspicious rental truck parked on an airport loading curb, authorities said.
The north terminal’s baggage claim and ticketing area were closed between 8:45 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday after a bomb sniffing dog alerted police to the possibility of explosives inside an abandoned U-Haul truck parked on the curb next to the north terminal area, said Maj. Darryl Tolleson.About 1,000 passengers deplaning at the airport had to wait to receive their luggage.
A bomb technician later found the truck contained some fireworks and nitroglycerin, which is what the dog had detected.
