Previously they did 3 seasons of The Real Housewives of the OC and just showed the finale of The Real Housewives of New York Season 1. Not one black Housewife was ever featured on any of the 4 seasons total. But now, after rumors of this new season have been going around for a while, it’s official that Bravo is bringing the show to Atlanta. And 4 out of the 5 Housewives are YBF chicks. Atlanta rapper T.I. will be starring along side Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe in a new movie titled “American Gangster”. T.I. will be the nephew of Frank Lucas played by Denzel Washington whereas Russell Crowe plays Detective Richie Roberts. Rapper Common also plays a unknown role in the film.
The film is about a drug kingpin in the 1970’s who smuggles heroin into Harlem by hiding the stash inside the coffins of American soldiers returning from Vietnam.
“Right now I’m learning everything I can about my character. I’m just there to soak things up,” T.I. said in a statement. “There’s a bunch of Academy Award-winners on this cast and I’m just there to learn. I’m in school.”
The movie was written by Steven Zaillian and is directed by Ridley Scott and will be released in 2007.
