Georgia-Native Signs His First Deal as an Atlanta Falcon
ATLANTA – MetroPCS, an innovative regional wireless carrier that offers service in the metro Atlanta area, announced today that it has finalized the details for its endorsement deal with hometown hero D.J. Shockley. The deal, which was signed on May, 15, 2006, is Shockley’s first professional endorsement contract. In this role, Shockley will be responsible for promoting the MetroPCS brand via in-store appearances and lending his likeness to local promotional activity, including radio, print, online and in-store advertising.
Shockley was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the seventh round (223rd selection overall) of the 2006 NFL and signed a contact with the team on July 26 to serve as one of the back-up quarterbacks to Michael Vick.

At this point its safe to say that Falcons’ defense is one of the best in the league. Next week Abraham should be back and there only gonna be better. The problem is that the offense is garbage. Sure the running is good, but last week against New Orleans proved that running will not help when they fall behind. Greg Knapp is needs to rethink his offense.
